The Muslims of Sri Lanka; Public Lecture and Q&A

Journalist, ethnologist and author Asiff Hussein will speak on the Origins of the Muslims of Sri Lanka and their role in the national life of the country.



The discussion will include a 1 hour Q & A session where participants will be free to pose questions on contemporary Islamic topics such as human rights, women’s rights, religious extremism, the halal issue and the perceived exclusivity of the Muslim community due to dress code etc.



All are welcome, but please note that space constraints restrict the maximum number of available places to 50 (to be allocated on a first come first served basis).
